Financial Experts
Collaborative Law financial experts are committed to the principles of Collaborative Law. These professionals are trained to serve as financial experts in the Collaborative Law process. Their role is to aid the parties in clarifying all financial issues that arise out of a divorce. Their work can include work with budgets, income projections, tax issue analysis, business valuation, long range financial planning, insurance matters and other financial issues of divorce. The financial experts listed below are members of the Collaborative Law Group of Southern Arizona.
Janet Baker
Janet is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™. She graduated from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario Canada with a B. Comm. Honors in 1983 and has over 26 years experience in money management.
Janet is trained as a Collaborative Divorce Practitioner and is one of the founders of The Divorce Resource Network of Tucson. Janet has been divorced herself and is committed to helping others through the process. She is a board member of Divorce Recovery and teaches a monthly class, Financial Life after Loss, for people who have had a life transition and want to learn how to handle their finances.

LaShaun is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, candidate for Certified Financial Planner® Certification, and a trained Collaborative Divorce practitioner with Divorce Financial Consultants, LLC. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting in 2008 and an MBA from Florida A&M University in 2010. LaShaun has a passion for helping individuals and families understand their finances and work through financial decisions that will impact their short-term and long-term plans.

Jonathan Gardner
Jonathan was raised in Tucson and attended the University of Arizona where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Eller College of Management. Jonathan is a Financial Advisor and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™.
